Which payment providers do you support?
We currently support Stripe, with more providers coming soon. Cartt connects to your account via secure OAuth. Payments go directly to you—we never hold your funds.
How do taxes/VAT work?
Your payment provider handles tax calculation (e.g., Stripe Tax). Cartt passes through your provider's settings, so you have full control over tax collection and reporting. For physical products, Stripe automatically calculates tax based on the shipping address.
How are digital downloads delivered?
Customers receive instant download links after payment. Files are securely hosted and links are unique to each purchase. You can update files anytime and customers get the latest version.
Can I sell physical products?
Yes. Configure shipping countries (25 supported via Stripe), set up to 5 shipping rates with delivery estimates, and track inventory automatically. When orders come in, mark them as shipped with tracking numbers — customers get email notifications and can track their order status.
Can I use a custom domain?
Yes, on Pro and Business plans you can connect your own domain with automatic SSL. Starter plan pages are hosted on yourname.cartt.io.
Who handles refunds/chargebacks?
You manage refunds directly in your payment provider's dashboard since it's your account. Cartt shows refund status in your orders but your provider is the source of truth for all payment operations.
How do I migrate from another platform?
Simply create your page, add products, connect your payment provider, and you're live. Since customers pay via your account, there's no payment migration needed. Just update your links and start selling.
